Jeff Strauch
A tough, durable running back, Jeff excelled in football at both the high school and collegiate levels. During his playing days for the Shoremen, his aggressive play earned him recognition as All-SWC, All-County, All-District and the recipient of the Golden Helmet Award. The Golden Helmet is awarded to Lorain Counties’ top football player. Further accolades include All-Lorain County and All NE District MVP culminating in his selection as first team All-Ohio. After graduation, Jeff took his football skills to Mount Union University. While at Mount Union, the Purple Raiders were 2 times national champions with a 53-2 record. In his career at MU, Jeff scored 22 touchdowns, set the single game record for touchdowns (6) and in 2004 led the team in rushing and scoring. Further, he was recognized an All-OAC academic student. Today, Jeff lives in Avon Lake with his wife & two children
